Once when I was little, I told my father I was bored.
I never said that again. EVER!
You know why? Because my father said, "If you are bored, it must mean you are boring!"
OMG! If you know me, I think you would agree I am not boring. DAD!!! LOL
Maybe that was harsh, but it was such a pivotal moment.
Ever since then, I have found wonderful ways to spend my free time.
Do you ever say you're bored? (Don't worry, I will not judge you and you are NOT boring.)
Or, do you ever find yourself with some free time and wonder what the heck should I do now?
I asked some of my kiddos in my programs what they do with their free time.
Some of them answered they do this and that, and we talked about what might be better.
I did mention some of these things they do might be addictive (ie. social media), so I suggested they try to pull back a bit slowly and introduce some healthier options to gradually take over. Habits are hard to break but that's for another day.
For those adults who hardly ever have free time but find yourself every now and then with some time on your hands, pay attention to your fascinations.
What are you fascinated by?
Keep those fascinations in mind and before you know it, you could have a hobby and/or the start of something bigger on your hands.
Remember - the closer we are to our soul's purpose, the better off this world will be.
Love you, you amazing soul, you!
